Koeck is the surname reported for his father in his baptism record. His baptism is said to have taken place in Kingston but was registered in New Amsterdam, so it does not appear in Hoes' Kingston church book. Ellen Smith, 9 July 2017
Thanks, Jan. That indexed record had the missing place and the correct date for his baptism. Interestingly, I see that the index added a surname for his mother that doesn't appear in the New York transcript and it rendered the witness' name as Marijken instead of Marÿken.
