Biography

Dr. Henry Gansevoort Cooke, MD, son of Dr. Robert Woodruff Cooke, MD and Susan Gansevoort, was born at Holmdel, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, 3 February 1833.[1] He died at his home on Livingston Ave. at New Brunswick, Middlesex Co., New Jersey, 2 December 1919,[2] and was buried in the Cooke plot at the Old Brick Reformed Church Cemetery, Marlboro, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, 5 December 1919.[3]

Henry married Maria Burritt Cowdrey, daughter of Peter Anderson Cowdrey, Esq. and Maria Burritt, at New Rochelle, Westchester Co., New York, 8 June 1876.[4]
