1776 Project
Private Noah Cooley served with 18th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Noah Cooley was born in 1744, the son of Daniel Cooley (1711–1782) and Frances McIntyre (1717–1807).

Noah Cooley was a Veteran of the Revolutionary War.

Regiment: 18th Regiment of Militia (Commanded by Jonathan Pettibone). Lt. Joel Hays' (Hayes) Company, from August 22 to September 25, 1776, serving in New York.

He married Lois Holcomb (1748–1827). They had the following children:

Philetus Cooley 1773–1844

Forres Cooley 1778–1845

Parley Cooley 1780–1839

Dorres "Doris" Cooley 1782–1839

He died in 1830. Buried at Cooley Cemetery, North Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut.
