Biography

Abiah was born in 1721 to John Cooley and Mercy Gunn.^[1] On March 24, "1741/1742", in Springfield, Abiah married Benjamin Colton Jr..^[2] Their intention to marry was recorded on 13 Feb "1741/1742".^[3]

Abiah and Benjamin are known to have had 8 children.^[4]

Abiah died 30 April 1778.^[5] Her death was recorded in Wilbraham.^[6]
