Biography
John was born about 1858. He is on the 1860 Fed Census with his parents.[1]
On the 1870 Fed Census he is 12 and living with his sister Amanda Stubbs and her family in Pekin, Tazwell, Illinois.[2]
John married his wife Mary Abbie Labee in Tazwell, Illinois 5 Nov 1879.[3]
He and Mary are on the 1880 Fed Census living in Devalan, Tazewell, Illinois.[4]
He and his family were living in Illinois in 1900,[5]
The 1910 Fed Census has the family still in Roodhouse Green.[6]
By 1920 only two of the children are still at home.[7]
John died in 1927 and is buried in Pairie Rest Cemetery, Illinois.[8][9]
