Obituary St. Francis hospital of a heart condition. Born November 16, 1884, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, Cooling was the son of William and Florence Cooling. Cooling married Helen Kelly in 1916 in Waterloo. She died in 1938. He was married in 1940 to Nina Corning in Des Moines. She preceded him in death In 1941. He married Florence Sheppard in Manchester, Iowa, on September 16, 1947. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert A, of 612 Cedar Bend, and John, Woodward, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Chester Bush, Austin, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; one brother, Lester Cooling, Dubuque, Iowa and one sister, Mrs. Howard Rose, Foley, Minnesota. Funeral arrangements are pending at O’Keefe and Towne funeral home. ^[2]
