Biography

Richard William Cooling was born in St. Kilda in 1858. He was the eldest son of Richard Cooling and Agnes King. ^[1]

BIRTHS.

On the 23rd inst., at Barkly-street, St. Kilda, the wife of Mr. Richard Cooling, tailor, of a son.^[2]

In 1886 he married Helen Edith Moerlin. ^[3]

COOLING—MOERLIN.—On the 1st inst., at the Independent Church, Albert-park, by the Rev. Chas. Strong, Richard William Cooling, of Hotham, to Helen Edith, daughter of Carl Moerlin, of the Observatory, Melbourne.^[4]

They were the parents of Carl (1890).

He passed away in 1947, aged 89. ^[5]
