He lived with his parents and siblings in Maine and later moved with them to the Boston, Massachusetts area. [2][3]
Arthur then left his home in Massachusetts and moved across country to California. He married Isabella Hepp on March 29, 1890 in Los Angeles [4] and they moved to Berkeley, California where they raised their three daughters, Evangeline, Mabel and Aileen. Arthur was employed variously as a bookkeeper and a salesman. [5][6][7]
Arthur passed away on June 16, 1922 in Berkeley and is interred in the Sunset View Mausoleum in El Cerrito. [8]
