Joseph COOMBS, born at Bowdoin, ME, on 1 or 10 Dec 1798;[1] died 9 Apr 1886; married (1st) 28 Nov 1821 Margaret “Peggy” ALLEN,[2] by Solomon Eaton. Margaret was born 28 Jun 1802, daughter of Elijah Allen and Janet _____, and she died 7 Apr 1836 at age 33 years, buried Gully Woods Cemetery, Bowdoin Center, ME. Joseph Coombs of Bowdoin's marriage (2nd) intentions were published at Lisbon, ME, on 8 Apr 1836 to Mrs. Princess (Edgecomb) KIMBALL of Lisbon, ME.[3] Princess was the widow of Evat Kimball who died 27 Aug 1834 at Lisbon.[4]
Joseph was born in 1798. He was the son of John Coombs and Charlotte Tarr. He passed away in 1886.
