Virgil Elmer Cooper was born on 18 Jan 1927 in Topeka, Kansas to parents Elmer Roscoe Cooper and Bertha V LaDuke. He married Peggy Tuttle on 21 Aug 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas. Children: Gary, Vicki Ann. He died on 25 Feb 1993 in Lawrence, Douglas, Kansas. He is buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence, Kansas.
