Excerpt from Henry Miller Family and Descendants, Page 67
She, also was born in the Blue Sulpur area of Greenbrier. That would have been about the year 1837. She was the youngest of the girls of the Francis Cooper family.
She came with the family, while yet in her teens, to Lawrence county, Ohio. In 1855 she was married to James Green. The family is listed in the census of 1860 in Aid township of the same county in Ohio.
Some of their children were born in Lawrence county, but not to be found in the next census. In 1880 the family was living in Champaign county, Illinois.
Later the family moved on westward, and Guthrie, Oklahoma, is where the last account of them was given.
Ruth came East to visit awhile, about the turn of the century. We have no further data on this branch of the Cooper family. We have the listings of the children, given in 1860, and the 1880 census for those years, but nothing further is to be noted at this time.
