Alice was born in 1879 and her birth was registered early in 1880 in Monmouth, the district covering the Forest of Dean. Her mother's maiden name was Wintle. [1]
In 1891 she was living with her parents Job and Matilda in Parkend. Job was a Bankman in a Colliery. [2]
In 1900 Alice married Frederick Hill. The marriage was registered in Monmouth. [3]
In 1911 Alice and Fred were living in Parkend with Matilda's mother and family plus 2 daughters in a total of 6 rooms. Fred was a Labourer. The couple had been married for 10 years and had 2 children. [4]
Alice died in 1969 and was buried on 16th April at Parkend. [5]
