James Cooper was born in 1654 [citation needed]. He passed away in 1722.
Will (notes on abstract) 9/12 Nov 1719 James Cooper, Esq of Southampton, Suffolk, NY. Sons Nathan, James and daughter Elizabeth, and under-aged (under 12 y) daughter Susanna; son-in-law Thomas Stephens; brother-in-law David Pierson. Names sons Nathan and James and David Pierson as exes. Codicil names daughter Elizabeth Marshall. Proved 1723. [1]
