Biography

When Velma Jane (Jennie) Cooper was born on March 14, 1896, in Osceola, Missouri, her father, Mary, was 23, and her mother, Autillia, was 18. She married John William Kessler on March 17, 1914, in Harrisonville, Missouri. They had 13 children in 21 years. She died on September 2, 1959, in Jerome, Idaho, at the age of 63, and was buried in Twin Falls, Idaho.
