Mehetable Cooper was born in 1748 at Rehoboth (later Attleboro), Bristol, Massachusetts Bay.[1] She passed away at Attleboro, Bristol, Massachusetts in 1824 and is buried at Newell Burying Ground, Attleboro.[2]
Mehetable married Daniel Jillson in Cumberland, Providence, Rhode Island, 5 Jul 1770, (by John Dexter, J. P.). Mehetable was the daughter of Daniel’s step-mother, also named Mehetable Cooper. Daniel and Mehetable lived on the homestead in South Attleboro.[3]

Sally Cooper, b. 7 Jun 1777; d. in Wrontham, 29 Nov 1865
Daniel, b. 30 Jun 1780, a sailor. He sailed in the sloop-of-war Hornet, from New London, Ct., 13 Nov 1814, and was not heard from afterward. It was the Hornet's third cruise, as one of the squadron of Commodore Stephen Decatur. She returned to New York, 9 Jun 1815. This vessel was lost off Tampico, Mexico, 10 Sep 1829, with all on board.
