Biography

Thomas Graham Cooper was born on 26 Jan 1866 in Enfield, Middlesex. He was the son of Thomas Cooper and Lavinia (Lunnon) Cooper. His birth was registered in the first quarter of 1866, in Edmonton district.

By April 2nd 1871, Thomas Graham's father was a retired merchant (though he was only 56) and they were living in Godalming. They had four servants, and Thomas Graham's aunt Sarah Cooper and cousin Ernest Lunnon were either visiting or living with them.

Thomas Graham's father died in 1875, aged 62, at his home, Ockford Wood, Godalming. He was buried on 3 Jul 1875 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section.

Thomas Graham's mother married again, to Lieut. Colonel Stewart Alexander Cleeve.

Thomas Graham's mother died on 23 Jan 1905, aged 75, at her home, Ockford Wood, Godalming. She was buried on 28 Jan 1905, with her first husband.

Thomas Graham died on 29 Apr 1939, aged 75, at Haslemere Cottage Hospital. He was described as "late of Puttenham Hill, Guildford". He was buried on 3 May 1939 next to his parents.
