Biography

Olive Irene Cooper was born in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, in 1908, the daughter of Thomas James Cooper and Alice (Lovenfosse) Cooper.^[1]

On 25 October 1930, Olive married David Holbert at the Gosford Church of England, New South Wales.^[2]. Olive and David had three children:

• Trevor Lindsay Gordon Holbert (b. 1934 - 2012);
• Heather (Holbert) Davis (b. 1938); and
• Vernon Rodd (Rodd) Holbert (1940 = 2002).

In 1931, Olive gave evidence at the inquest into her father's death. While at work for Central Coast Council building the mountain road, he struck an undetonated explosive. He died of extensive head injuries. He was aged 46 and had 5 children, the youngest being 15 years old^[3]

Olive passed away about 1995.^[4]
