In the 1851 census Ferdinand (age 50, labourer) was living with his widowed mother Elizabeth in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.^[3]

In the 1861 census Ferdinando (age 60, unmarried, ag lab) was living alone in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.^[4]

In the 1871 and 1881 censuses Ferdinando was recorded as a pauper at the Headington Union Workhouse, Headington, Oxford. ^{[5] [6]}
