William was born at Stockport, Cheshire on 18 December 1791, with his parents named in the record of Morley Quaker Monthly Meeting as Daniel and Elizabeth.[1]
OCCUPATION: 1806: Bound apprentice to Procter and Spence, North Shields, 31st May, 1806 at the age of 13 years. 1841: Bank clerk. 1851: Bank Manager - a position he held at the Doncaster Bank for 26 years. 1861: Bank Manager.
RESIDENCE: 1841: High St. Doncaster 1851: High St. Doncaster 1861: 3 High St. Doncaster, West Riding, Yorkshire, England.
1871 : CENSUS : age 79, boarding in North Meols, Lancashire. With daughter Elizabeth.
