Mary Coote was born circa 1794. She was the daughter of Chidley Coote and Elizabeth Carr.

She married Charles Launcelot Sandes on 12 January 1815; the marriage was carried by the Freeman's Journal as follows: On the 12th (May 1815) inst, Capt SANDES, of the 3rd Foot Guards, eldest son of Launcelot SANDES Esq of Kileavan, in the Queen's County, was married to Mary, only sister of Sir Charles Henry COOTE Bt of Ballyfin, in the same County.[1][2]

Mary died on 6 February 1852.[3][4]
