Biography

Henry was born about 1760 in the Province of New York to William Cope, UEL and Phoebe Ellsworth.[1] About 1785 Henry married Martha Ellsworth.[1]

Henry's father was a soldier in the British Army during the Revolutionary War. Sometime after the war William moved his family to the Niagara District of Upper Canada but was definitely there by 1785.[1]

He passed away on 20 Nov 1844 in Copetown, Upper Canada.[1][2]
