Henry's father was a soldier in the British Army during the Revolutionary War. Sometime after the war William moved his family to the Niagara District of Upper Canada but was definitely there by 1785.[1]
He passed away on 20 Nov 1844 in Copetown, Upper Canada.[1][2]
