Biography
Mary Etta Cope was born in 1844. She married James Kastor Peirsol in Columbiana, Ohio on 30 May 1867. They had at least four children. [1]
In 1870, they lived in New Brighton, Beaver, Pennsylvania. The household included James Peirsol, 26, an attorney, born in PA; his wife Mary, 25, born in Ohio; and their son Howard, 1, born in PA. [2]
Mary died in 1884, aged 39-40. She is buried with her husband in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton, Beaver, Pennsylvania. [3]
NOTE: Findagrave shows her birthplace as Pennsylvania, but all other available records show her birth location as OHIO. I believe that that Findagrave detail is in error.
