Biography

James Cope or Copes was born in Ireland about 1853 as he was aged 47 years when he died in 1900 at Singleton. The son of William and Eliza COPES. He married at Greenleek near Singleton 1890 to Ann Jane RAMSEY in the Presbyterian Church.
