Rebecca Copeland, daughter of John and Judith (Rosson) Copeland, was born on 23 March 1795[1] in Surry County, North Carolina.[2]
Her parents removed to Clinton County, Ohio in the 1810s.[3][4]
Rebecca married Isaac Ellis,[5]Elmer Clark knew that Isaac's wife Rebecca was born on 23 March 1795, but he did not know her name at birth. The birthdate he gives matches Rebecca Copeland's.[5] probably in 1815.
