Know all men by this property that I Nickolas Copeland Sen. of ye County of Essex do assigns set over Alenate and make Swie from me & my heirs, make my Sonne William Copeland all my right Gifts Clayms & I whose that of the sd Nicholas Copeland have this and make the william mentioned five hundred sixty & seven Acres of land to him ye sd William Copeland to have and to hold this sd land to him & his heirs for Ever. In the name of god amen, I Nicholis Copland of the County of Essex being very sick and weak and body but of perfect sents and memory thanks be to God Calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed onto for all men to dye do by here present make this my Last Will and Testamt revoking all form of wills that shall appear hereafter. Item I bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty God y gave it me through the merritt of my blessed Lord & Savior Jesus Christ I bequeath my body into the ground from where it came to be buryed in Christian like order at the discretion of my ofting dougbting but that I shall or give the same again at the general operration by the mighty power of God and as for what worldly good God hath been pleased to bless me with. Give & bequeath as followeth. Item I Give and bequeath unto Ann, my beloved wife the devident of land where I now live and all my personable estate so long as she shall remain a widow. Item I Give and bequeath unto my grandson Nickalis Copeland the devident of Land where I now live after my wife's decease unto him & the heirs of his body Lawfully begotten. if he should dye without heirs of his body Lawfully begotten, then my sd Land unto my granddaughter Mary Brown & heirs of her body Lawfully begotten forever but if she should dye wthout heirs of her body lawfully begotten then my sd land to return unto my grandson Charles Atkinson and his heirs forever. Item I Give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Mary Brown one hundred and seventy acres of land adjoining to the of James Boulware to her & her heirs forever. Item it is my will & desire that after my wife's decrease my personable Estate shall be divided into three parts. I give one third part unto my grandson Nickolis Copland, and one third part unto my grand daughter Mary Brown and the remainder of my personall Estate to be equally divided amongst the rest of my grand Children. Item I Give unto my daughter Ann Phillips one shilling. Item I do appoint and ordain my beloved wife Ann Copeland executricks of this my Last Will & Testament.
