Biography
Nellie Rose Franklin was the daughter of Hardin and Lillian Christine Copland nee Goatley. She was a retired from retail sales and care giving. Nellie was a member of the Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Lee Franklin; a daughter, Katherine Anglin; and two sisters. Nellie was survived by a daughter, Brenda Franklin Watts; sons, Raymond Lee and Steve Franklin; a sister, Margie Harris; a brother, Donald Copeland; twelve grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation was at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah on February 8th with services and burial at Woodlawn Memory Gardens in Paducah, Kentucky the following day.
