William Copeland was born on 7 Mar 1694/5, in Braintree, in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of William Copeland and Mary Bass.

William was married to Mary Thayer in Braintree on 15 Jun 1718 by Rev. Samuel Niles.[1]

I fail to see to comparative dates.

William Copeland Jr., son of William Copeland and Mary Bass, born Mar 7, 1694/95 at Braintree, married Mary Thayer of Braintree on Jun 15, 1718. He died about 1774 at Randolph.

His father, William Copeland, born Sep 15, 1656 at Braintree, died Oct 30, 1716.
