Biography
John was born in 1793. He was the son of Jonathan Copp and Hannah Elizabeth Anderson.
He married 11 Nov 1817 in Westmorland County, Elizabeth Bishop, daughter of Jeremiah and Keziah (Coldwell) Bishop.[1]
In 1851, John, farmer, 56, Elizabeth, 52, b. NS, Nathan W., 22, James I., 16, Olevia [sic], 15 and Rachel L., 20 were res. Harvey, Albert Co., NB. John Wm, 26 and Jonathan, 30 were residing nearby.
John died 6 Apr 1858 aged 65, and is buried in the Waterside United Baptist Church Cemetery, Waterside, Albert County, New Brunswick.[2]
