Mary (Copp) Spiggle was listed in the 1860 census as 56 years of age, married John Hausenfluck in 1866 and was a widow when she applied for a pension in 1878, based on his service in the War of 1812. She was living alone in 1877, when she wrote a letter to her daughter, Lydia Hottel in Corydon County, Indiana. Mary died before 1880.
Mary, widow of John Hausenfluck, was born Mary Copp, and was first married to Michael Spiggle, who died in 1843.
