Biography

According to Burke's Landed Gentry of Ireland,^[1] Thomas Coppinger and Hellen Galway had a daughter described as "Joan, m. Nov. 1706, Conor O'Brien, of Kilcor, co. Cork". Burke does not mention either Conor's father or Conor's son, both apparently named Teige. Confirmation of the relationships (marked uncertain on WikiTree as of 18 May 2022) may be found in the Pedigree of O'Brien of Ballaghcarrig, Co. Clare, and Kilnecurra (called Kilcor), Co. Cork, c.1500 -- 1844.^[2]
