Vincent Corbet, Esq. of Inner Temple (b. c. 1616, age 26 in 1642). On 15 July 1642 at St. Faith, he married Jane (b. c. 1621), dau. of John Acton, goldsmith & Blandina Penwin, Lady Skipwith.[1]
Burke, n.d.: Robert Corbet, esq. succeeded to the Humfreston estate. He married Bridget, eldest daughter and heiress of Sir James Pryse, knt. of Ynysymaengwyn, in the county of Merioneth, (which lady re-married to Sir Walter Lloyd, knt.) and by her had issue:
Vincent was born in 1615*. He was the son of Robert Corbett and Bridget Pryce. He passed away in 1669.

Vincent Corbet, Robert's eldest son, was entered at the Inner Temple in 1639 ; he married Jane Acton before his father's death, in 1642. The marriage License describes young Vincent as a bachelor aged 26 and gives the age of Jane Acton as 21 ; it also says that she was daughter of John Acton citizen and goldsmith dec: of Friday Str: married with consent of her mother Blandina " now the Lady Skipwith: " the marriage to take place at St. Dunstan's in the West.
