Biography

Children: Peter (married Elizabeth daughter of William Brereton), Alice (Elizabeth, married Robert Scriven).

Thomas is mentioned as Alice's father in the Scriven genealogy in the Visitations of Shropshire and as Elizabeth's father in the Corbet genealogy, both marrying Robert Scriven of Frodesley. Welsh Genealogies lists her name as Alice.

There are some conflicts in different sources about Thomas' lineage: "Welsh Genealogies 1400 - 1500" list him as son of Roger while "Shropshire Genealogies" by Joseph Morris make him Roger's brother. The Golden Grove manuscript gives him a completely different genealogy.

There was a Thomas Corbet of Leigh who was sherriff in Shropshire in 1427. This is the only Thomas Corbet who makes sense to be that sherriff.
