Biography

In 1818 when Patrick emigrated on the Brunswick to Upper Canada, he was a shoemaker. He and his wife Elizabeth Spearman had two young sons: John (2) and William (1).^[1]

This determination makes very clear the disambiguation with the Dufferin County Corbetts as represented by John Andre Corbett (Corbett-1139), who fall under R-L21 This should remove any conflation of the 2 lines of Corbetts who did both settle in Ontario Canada in the early 1800s.****
