Dr. Corbett was born Oct. 3, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio a son of James Corbett and Mozele Robinson.
He was a graduate of The Rayen School, Youngstown College and Meharry Medical Dental College and interned at the Harlem Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Corbett practiced Dentistry in Youngstown at several locations. He was on the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital doing oral surgery.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a faithful, devoted member of the church from the age five years old.
He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, the former Rev. Irma L. Reid, whom he married Jan. 14, 1961; a daughter, Dr. Judith C. Carter; two sisters, Hazel A. McCollum of Philadelphia and Selena B. Corbett of Janesville, Wis.; a brother, Connie Mack (Rev. Ardelia) Corbett of Youngstown; and two grandchildren, Rosa and Mathew James Carter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Luella J. Holt and Freddie Eva Pitts; and a brother, William R. Corbett.
