Biography

Lionel was born about 1863. He was christened on 15 Mar 1863 and was the son of Uvedale and Mary Corbett.^[1] The death notice cited below states he was the fourth son of Uvedale Corbett of Ashfield Hall, Neston, Cheshire. In 1871, Lionel was living at Kensington, Middlesex.^[2] By 1884, he had emigrated to New Zealand. He married Julia Haylock in 1886.^[3]He passed away in 1891.^[4][5][6]
