Sarah Corbin was born on 23 Mar 1857 near Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of William Waine Corbin and Mary Jane Sanders. Sarah died on 12 Oct 1883 in Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas when her youngest son was only a week old. She is buried in Grapevine Cemetery there. After her husband's father, Alfred Corbin, died, his mother, Mary Jane Sanders, and his younger brother came from Tennessee to Texas to help with her three older children. Her son.
