Biography

Marguerite Cormier was born about 1693 in Beaubassin, Acadie, Nouvelle-France, daughter of François Cormier and Marguerite LeBlanc. .[1]

She married Claude Terriot around 1710 in Acadie.

Their children were:

  1. Marguerite Theriot (1711 - 1758)
  2. Marie Madeleine Theriot (~1713 - >1784)
  3. Marie Theriot (~1714 - )
  4. Anne Theriot (1715 - <1774)
  5. Paul Theriault (~1716 - 1792)
  6. Elisabeth Theriot (~1719 - <1765)
  7. Joseph (Theriault) Theriot (~1720 - 1765)
  8. Jean Baptiste Thériot (1721 - <1763)
  9. Marie Joseph Theriot (1724 - )
  10. Unknown Terriot ca 1731

In 1714 they appeared on the census at Les Mines with two daughters. [2][1]

In 1750 Marguerite, a widow, was living with her son Jean-Baptiste and his family in Nanpanne (Nappan, Nova Scotia). [3][4][5]

Marguerite died in Acadie.
