Biography
Théotiste was born on 17 Jun 1864 and baptized in Barachois on 25 Jun 1864. Her godparents were Pierre Doiron and Sylvie Cormier. She is the daughter of Calixte Cormier and Osithe Bourgeois.[1]
She married Paul Landry, son of Marcel Landry and Justine LeBlanc in Haute-Aboujagane on 21 Sep 1891.[2][3] A dispensation to authorise the marriage of relatives having close consanguinity was granted by church officials to Paul and Théotiste who were second cousins once removed.
