Julien was born on March 23, 1851 and baptized on April 5, as recorded in the early part (Shemogue) of the Cap-Pele church register. Godparents were Philippe Bourque and Blanche Cormier. He is the son of Simon Cormier and Agnes Leger.
Julien married Marie Haché of Grande-Digue on 24 Feb 1873 in Grande-Digue.[1][2]
