8 February 1796. Marriage of François Cormier, age 59, master ship carpenter and farmer, widower of Marie Jeanne Leprince and Geneviève Richard, 28, daughter of Joseph Richard and Françoise Cormier. There was special dispensation granted for "double degré de consanguinité". Witnesses: Martin Cormier groom's son, Pierre Cormier groom's brother, Joseph Richard bride's brother, Joseph Richard bride's brother in law.
