Martha, daughter of Joseph Cornelius and his wife Alice, was born about 1761, and baptised at St Mary in Capel-le-Ferne on 4 January 1761.[1]
Martha and her sister Sarah, were married on the same day at the church of St Mary the Virgin in Dover. Martha married Richard Hamilton at St Mary the Virgin in Dover on 19 May 1788.[2] Witness to the marriage were Jane X Lowther and Tho Clemment (parish clerk). And Sarah married Allen Archer, witnesses Robert Sterker and Mary March. [3]
Jane, the daughter of Richard Hamilton and Martha Cornelious was born on 29 August 1788 and baptised at St Mary the Virgin in Dover on 14 September 1788 [4]
Martha passed away in 1789 and was buried at St Mary the Virgin in Dover on 08 Feb 1789[5]

a) The previous research has connected tied Martha to a baptism in Dover for a Mary Cornelius - parents Edward and Elizabeth unknown.
b) There are no baptisms in Dover for a Martha Cornelius
c) There is a baptism for Martha Cornelius in 1761 at Capel-le-Ferne which is near Dover. approx 1.5 hours walk on google :-) Parents Joseph & Alice unknown
d) There is a baptism for Sarah Cornelius in 1763 at Capel-le-Ferne - Parents Joseph & Alice. No evidence located for a Sarah Cornelius with parents Edward and Elizabeth.
e) The day Martha married Richard Hamilton, Sarah married Allen Archer at the same location - refer to image uploaded on Martha's profile.
f) The parents are Joseph Cornelius and Alice unknown had 9 known children between 1752 to 1771 all baptised at Capel-le-Ferne. Transcriptions on familysearch, images on findmypast. Unable to locate a marriage record for Joseph and Alice.
