Profile category is "Needs Validation" & "Needs Transcription" - Which means the uploading of a baptism image, properly cited so that it will not cause copyright issues, and the full transcription [not only from FamilySearch itself] of the the baptism entry with LNAB (LastNameAtBaptism) to prove the spelling. The project profile (wikitree-cape-of-good-hope-project at googlegroups.com) has been added to the trusted list of this progenitor profile [Privacy Tab] and then also activated as active manager (though this progenitor profile still has to be validated with a [transcription of a] baptism [image]), and this profile has been Project Profile Protected). The bio has been been integrated as best possible for the time being. Primary records will probably still be around in archives in Denmark and in the Netherlands. Appreciatively thanks! As stated below, the LNAB is for the time being protected in patronymic form = Cornelisz. Baptismal record needs to be sourced in Denmark. The surname probably got toponymic by VOC administration, hence the different versions of van Tonderen in subsequent generations.

Slave child of Andries Cornelis van Tonderen baptised 12 July 1709. Name is Jan. Just says Slaven kind - no mother named. Marriage to Cornelia Vrij - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VFTM-1XW - states he was widowed, implying death of Catharina Grison before this date. Date of marriage 28 July 1711, place Strbosch. His name given as Andries Cornelissen. Image here:https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VFTM-1XW

LNAB to be protected probably patronymic = Cornelisz. Baptismal record needs to be sourced in Denmark.

Van Tonderen-2 and Van Tonderen-8 appear to represent the same person because: Same data (name, spouse, child) van Tonderen has the nearest to correct spelling of the LNAB even though it has the higher number. It should be the target profile to merge into.
