Elvina was born about 1739, the daughter of Samuel Mott Cornell & Hannah Cornwall. She passed away about 1825.

- 1765 David Hicks was born in Albany New York.
- 1767 Joseph Hicks was born in Albany, NY, and died in 1815 in Marysburgh, Prince Edwards, Ontario, Canada.
- 1769 Daniel Hicks was born in Albany, NY. and died in 1821 in Hallowell, Ontario, Canada.

There may be some doubt as to the marriage date. Information from Lisa Hems states: If Elvina married Joseph Wright at St. Andrews Church in Williamstown, Ontario, Canada I believe the marriage date above is wrong. The church website states since 1787 https://www.standrewsunited.org/st-andrews-united-church and a Williamstown website has the town settled in 1784. https://www.glengarrynorwestersandloyalistmuseum.ca/historic-williamstown.html Both after these dates. More research is needed.
1925 - Age 91, Died and is interred in South Bay Cemetery, Prince Edward county, Ontario, Canada. [2]
