Biography
Betty, daughter of William and Ann Corner of Banks, was born 23 Sep 1790 and christened 24 Oct 1790 in North Meols, Lancashire.[1] Betty was the mother of three children born out of wedlock, christened with the surnames Gorner or Gurnell.
In 1841, Elizabeth Gornell was residing in Snuttering Lane with several family members.[2] The marriage of Elizabeth Gornall and Thomas Wright was registered in 1849.[3]
In 1861, a widowed Elizabeth Wright, housekeeper, aged 69, was residing with her daughter Elizabeth Gorner and granddaughter Sarah Gorner.[4]
Betty Wright of Southport, aged 77, was buried 28 Apr 1868.[5]
