When Christina Cornett was born on October 8, 1842, in Cass County, Missouri, her father, Robert , was 31 and her mother, Mary Ann , was 21. She married John V. Gregg in 1861 in Cass County, Missouri. They had four children in 10 years. She died on February 3, 1911, in Franklin County, Kansas, at the age of 68, and was buried in Ottawa, Kansas. Mrs. Christina Gregg, aged 68, died at her home, 119 Ash street, yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. Death was due to complications which developed dropsy. Mrs. Gregg was born October 8, 1842. In 1861 she was married to John Gregg. Mr. Gregg died June 23, 1901. Two children survive her, Mrs. John Houser, and William Gregg, both of this city. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home. The Holy Rollers had charge of the burial, which was in Hope Cemetery. [8]
