Biography

Samuel Braxton Cornett was born 27 Dec 1802, in Clay County, Kentucky. He is the son of Roger Vader Cornett and Zelphia Callahan. He married Lucretia Pigg Cornett 8 Aug 1823, in Clay County, Kentucky. Samuel Braxton Cornett passed away 27 Feb 1870, in Neosho River near Baxter Springs, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory (Which is now Kansas).[1][2][3]

Cornett-105 and Cornett-98 appear to represent the same person because: appear to be the same person, as they both married the same woman.
Cornett-277 and Cornett-98 appear to represent the same person because: Braxton was a commonly used surname in the region. Braxter is not used at all, so far as I know. I would keep the name Braxton and let Braxter go.
