Ebenezer Corning was born October 2, 1732, the son of David Corning and Priscilla Thistle of Beverley, Essex, Massachusetts[1][2]
On November 5, 1751, he married Abigail Batchelder, daughter of Daniel and Abigail Batchelder, in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts[3][4][2], The marriage banns were posted August 10, 1751 [5], and they had children[2], including :
Abigail, born August 30, 1752[6], who married Joseph Hill Saunders, son of Joseph Saunders on June 18, 1776[2]
David, born December 22, 1754[7], who married Edith Porter, daughter of Josiah on March 26, 1777; and then married Mary Walker, daughter of John on January 2, 1783; and who died June 20, 1800[2]
Ebenezer, born August 9, 1758[8], who married Elizabeth Foote, daughter of Captain Zacharaih Foote on November 21, 1779, and died February 10, 1843[2]
Jonathan, born August 9, 1761[9], who married Mary Foote, daughter of Captain Zacharaih Foote on October 12, 1782[2]
Thankful, born July 29, 1765, born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who married John Cann, the son of John Cann of Salem Mass on June 5, 1783, and dided July 29, 1859[2]
Judith, born August 18, 1767, who married Willoughby Sollows son of John on October 24, 1786; and then married Captain Thomas Flint[2]
Hannah, born May 29, 1770, who married William MacKenzie, son of Alexander in 1795, and who died in October 1842[2]
Samuel, born July 22, 1772, who married Sarah Killam, daughter of John on July 1, 1795, and then married Anna (Crosby) Goudey, widow of George Goudey; and who died March 3, 1867[2]
Mehitable, born October 5, 1774, who married Isaac Landers, son of Jabez Landers on October 6, 1796
In 1764, Ebenezer Corning and his brother Jonathan emigrated to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[10][11]
Note: Many family trees on Ancestry have confused his marriage date with his date of death. He lived past his marriage date to father a large family and move to Nova Scotia. This profile shows he passed away after the birth of his last child in 1774, in Yarmouth.
