Private Josiah Cornish I served with Plymouth County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Josiah Cornish I is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A026173.

Josiah was born in 1760. He was the son of Thomas Cornish and Anne Bates.[1]

He married Abigail Clark at Plymouth in 1760[2] and they had five children.[3]
