Biography

Violet is the daughter of Joel and Susan Lorinda (Pettibone) Cornish.

She was born 16 Feb 1790 in Simsbury, Connecticut.[1][2] [3]

She married Archer Crane Dec 1809, and settled at Blissfield, Michigan.[4][5]

She died 1 Dec 1855, and was buried in the Crane Cemetery in Blissfield, Michigan.[6][7] [8] [9]

Her son Archer Hector Crane, grandsons Mahlon Dwight Crane, James Keyes Crane, Clarence Crane, Archer G Crane, and granddaughters Celestia (Crane) Lazell, Edith (Crane) Walker were heirs to her brother Joel Cornish.[10]

Charity Maria Crane married Judah R McLean 22 May 1844.[11] Their son Edgar was born about 1847. Edgar Larue McLean married Mary Brokaw 09 Jun 1874 in Manhattan, New York.[12] Edgar and Mary had a son 28 Jul 1875 in Manhattan.[13]
