"He belonged to the associated Militia of the Revolutionary War, and served as a private in Capt. David Krause's Fourth Company of Second Battalion Lancaster County Militia, Pa., 1782, John Gloninger Lieut. Col. See Muster Roll on file in the Division of Public Records, State Library, Harrisburg, Pa."
